Welcome e-mail

  • Hi Guys,

    Where is the text of the e-mail which is sent out to welcome new users? Actually, is there a welcome e-mail function?

    When a new user signs up, I want to be able to tell them about a couple of new features we have on our site.

  • try the activateemail template. it's the very first one :) and the validateemail template, the 2nd to last one...


  • That's a good idea for a new feature. I'll add it to my to do list.

  • I don't use activation in my bb. The member just registers and is active right away.

    Does it go out as soon as any user is registered or is there a setting which turns it on (verify e-mail?)
